I discovered Tabi Bonney about a year ago while watching MTV Jams, and was immediately made into a fan after seeing this crazy, throwback video. The aesthetics, the filming, the clothes, everything is reminiscant of an early 70′s swinger party, and though this video isn’t new, Tabi isn’t quite a household name yet so enjoy. This is one of the dopest videos I’ve seen in a while.

Fashion: Chanel Samurai Armor by Tetsuya Noguchi
In a previous post, I share Chanels revolutionary Skin-Branding system. I recently learned that as a tribute to luxury label Chanel, Tetsuya Noguchi crafted a samurai armor made from resin, cashew lacquer, cloth, and glass which is great because I was just thinking that when I’m about to decapitate the head of a high ranking officer in an opposing army, I want to look fly while doing it. Plastered with Chanel logos all over it, the armor would have definitely made it’s way to all the major fashion publications of the 16th century. You probably won’t be seeing this ensemble at the club, but you have to admit….this is dope. For the rest of the pics, you know what to do

Fashion: Phillip lim “Donahue” Glasses
There are certain people in this world who are known for their glasses. One of the first people that comes to mind is Sally Jesse Raphael, the acclaimed 80′s talk show host and another is Phil Donahue, another 80′s talk show host, which is why when I saw these 3.1 Phillip lim “Donahue” unisex frames, I caught a quick nostalgic feeling. These frames are dope. I’m loving the thick frames and the metal accenting. Handmade in Japan, the unixex glasses come with optical or sun lenses and are now available.
