Every industry has it’s elite. People who set the standard for what great work in a particular industry is. As I’ve mentioned in previous posts, the brothers from Street Etiquette continue to take blogging to the next level and then once at that level, they enhance that. If you read the previous post, 20 Black Style Icons you would know that it was one of their first collaborations with GQ. Now, they have surpassed that and made it to the pages of the qaurterly publication, which is a great achievement for them or any blogger. GQ sets the standards in mens fashion magazines, and to be featured in the pages of the actual magazine is a major accomplishment. Here are some shots from the editorial and be sure to pick up this months issue to read the whole story. Once again, big ups to Jkissi and Trav of SE. Congrats fellas. Video: Our Dreams Trailer – Method Man x Raekwon x Ghostface

Three of the key lyricists from the Wu Tang Clan have reconnected for an upcoming project and we have a trailer of an upcoming video entitled In Our Dreams. I’m sure there’s going to be some dope music coming from this trio, and the beat that’s playing in the trailer is crazy. Hopefully, that’s the beat they rhyme over. The visuals are definitely tight, but haven’t we seen the whole “police siezure/interrogation” intro? Either way, I’m still looking forward to it. When the full video comes out, I’ll be sure to update you all.
Fashion: Rico “Black Resort” SS2010 Collection

Rico’s Spring and Summer collection comes deep rooted in musical influence. The line is specifically influenced by the Raggae musicians of Brixton, London and how they would be dressed on a hypothetical trip to Jamaica for vacation. That’s extremely creative. The overall feel is of vintage 70′s style, showcasing unique plaids and flower prints in addition to earth tones and washed out denims. I’m always one for accessories so I’m definitely feeling the perforated shoes and the fedoras. The style and settings of the photos are great too. I really like the stylists ability to put the fits together. The “looks” are dope and inspiring. If your not sure how to put certain pieces together, this lookbook can point you in the right direction for Spring. Check the pics
