As an avid fan of innovative advertising campaigns, it’s always inspiring to see what goes into some of the most creative in that arena. The objectives of the most effective ones, is for the ad to 1) capture the attention of the targeted consumer 2) educate the potential consumer and create a want or need and 3) get them to act, meaning get them to buy. These ads definitely remind me that creativity is something we all possess and have the ability to utilize. Done in 2008 by Herr Fritz Träumer (I said the same thing), a mysterious and eccentric Adidas designer who has devoted himself to creating the most unique (impossible, actually) sneaker series ever. He not only creates some unbelievable designs but also includes notes from his personal journal to give you a snapshot of the creative process involved. You can actually find the entire unfinished journal, already published, in select retailers in Austria and New Zealand, but lucky for you all, I have the most interesting ones for you to view here. Fashion: Manny Pacquiao “Pacman” Collection by Nike
For as long as I can remember, a shoe contract has been one of the ultimate accolades of being a professional athlete. If your at the top of your game, it just comes with the territory so I’m not at all surprised that the “little-big man” from the Philippines has been given his own shoe and line with some really fly pieces. I’m usually not into bright colors but these shoes are crazy and the tees are nice too. Nike borrowed from their “Bo Know’s” campaign from the early 90′s and made it “Pacman Know’s” (I’m sure Nike could have came up with something new but ok) with tees, hoodies, kicks, and track jackets just in time for Spring and in time for his Saturday, March 14 fight with Joshua Clottey at the new Dallas Cowboys Stadium. I’m definitely looking forward to that. While your contemplating who’s going to get knocked out, check out the pics from the line. The kicks are ridiculous.
