Mo’Nique won Best Supporting Actress for her role as an abusive welfare mom in “Precious”. She was highly favored in the category and beat Vera Farmiga, Anna Kendrick, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Penelope Cruz, as she did at the Golden Globes.

Fashion: “Lotus Looks” gives you something to “look” forward too this Spring!
Lotus and Civilian have some new arrivals that have me SUPER excited about Spring. Bright colors, funky patterns, flowy fabrics, and zippers give the garments sold at these modern boutiques a classic retro flair that we ladies are looking for in our style choices this season.
