Fashion: How to Rock a Skinny Tie
In a previous post, I touched on the bow tie(see Tom Ford bow tie), and now I’m gonna take some time to educate you on how to successfully pull off the skinny tie. A very vintage and trendy look, the skinny tie has re-emerged as a trendy piece in 2010, and really says a lot about the person wearing it. It’s a very versatile piece in that it can go from dressy, to formal, to casual very easily, depending on what you wear with it. If your going for a casual look, wear it with jeans and maybe a cardigan and a crispy button down shirt. When going dressy or formal, wear with a nice fitting suit(a baggy suit, in itself, is a no no). I actually prefer solids over patterns when it comes to wearing a skinny tie, but hey…..do what you feel makes you most comfortable and confident. Now, there not always easy to find but you can definitely score one in the more streetwear oriented stores. Some places you can purchase them are American Apparel and Express Men. Oh yeah…..sorry to my larger gentlemen. Skinny ties aren’t for you. Your size just makes the tie look even skinnier so stand clear and stay traditional or rock the bow tie, and as always……step your tie game up……..

Fashion: Penfield Stapleton Vest
One thing you can rest assured about is that I rarely show you anything in fashion that I wouldn’t be willing to wear myself. Case and point: The Penfield Stapleton Vest. When it comes to this joint right here, I need this in my life before the temperature warms up. Personally, I’m on some lumberjack type swag right now and(Katt Williams voice) this vest right here?? This vest right here?? I’m totally in love with it. Unfortunately, the weather down south is heating up fast so it might not be worth the investment in my particular region, however, it doesn’t mean I can’t put yall on. Some of yall have alot more winter left. Step your vest game up……

Art & Design: The Sharpie Lamborghini
This is one of the most creative things I’ve ever seen. They actually drew all over this Lamborghini with Sharpies and the results were crazy. It took the folks at Prestige(Lamborghini Miami) two weeks to complete the artwork and seal it with a layer of clear coat. I don’t know if I could drive it but artistically, it’s amazing. It’s almost like they tattood a Lamborghini…….that’s dope

Art & Design: OfficePOD
This brings a new meaning to the phrase, home office. The designers at OfficePOD are really on to something with this portable office space. Maybe you have a home business and you need a proper work space outside the house or your an employee, and you somehow convince your boss to let you telecomute….either way, you need one. The design is a super fly, modern contemporary style. I could really get some work done in something like that.

Shout outs to everyone who has dontated and everyone on the ground in Haiti in support! I got wind of this and wanted to share it…Anderson Cooper was reporting live in an area of Haiti that was being looted, in the midst of the chaos a young Haitian boy was struck with a brick on the side of his head. Mr. Cooper runs and carries the boy to safety…priceless
