I am sooooooo excited about this episode because of the “girl talk” aspect. But I do encourage our male audience to view these series of videos as well (it is always good to know what a woman thinks, I’m sure, and vice versa). Jennifer Tardy and I had such an extensive interview, that all the commentary could not be placed into one video! So I will be releasing the continuation of the videos throughout the day. Here you have the taping of the latest episode of “The Fresh”, in pictures, where I sit down with author Jennifer Tardy and chat about her book “His Ingredient Label-A Woman’s Guide to Recognizing a Junk Food Man”. I was most excited to shoot this episode because I was anxious to sit down with someone who had seriously started a campaign for “healthy relationships” AND because of the location of this shoot. People all over, wherever I go it seems, are always inquiring about my body art. If I had a nickel for every time someone asked, “Who does your tattoos”, I could give my corporate job the finger. So imagine my enthusiasm when FU’s Custom Tattoos accepted our offer to tape this latest episode of “The Fresh” from the art gallery attached to the tattoo parlor called BAKU Gallery. This art gallery features different genres and types of art each month and proceeds from the sale go to benefit different charities. This month’s proceeds were going to benefit the Carolina Raptor Center…DOPE!

Weekend Warriors…
This weekend, I got a chance to hang out with some good friends for a couple drinks at a Hawaiian Luau-style birthday party for my good friend Jake. Jake and his wife Tiffany are long time associates and took time off from running their successful jump castle business, Get the Party Jumping (gotta luv that name lol), to entertain us all at their lovely home. We all work hard in our respective fields so it’s only right that we play hard when the weekend comes. Add an assortment of white and brown liquor to the catered buffet of everything delicious, and I think you have a winner on your hand. At least my boy Jake and his wife Tiffany did…….dope

Under Construction……
I know you must be wondering from the title of this post and the photo of the grimy warehouse, where exactly are we going with this. Well Freshies and Freshettes, it’s simple……things get built in warehouses. So if you’re able to put two and two together you’ll know that we must be planning on building something, and what do we plan on building?? Well, I can’t tell you that right now, however, in order for the MTF team to properly carry out our diabolical scheme of world domination, I’ll be shifting my home base. Yep, you read it right. Peezo will be on the first thing smokin to Freshville real soon, but don’t worry. We’ll make sure and keep you posted. Gezee, Tif, Rod, and Jerri, let’s get it. Until then……dope

Parks & Recreations Part 2
I try to avoid paying for things at all cost if I can help it. I don’t steal or anything like that lol. I just have a network of MTF friends whom I can call on when certain needs arise. In the case of my computer, I just call on my resident computer wiz, Kam aka “Gezee, yo big head” Killa Kam, a good friend and frequent commenter on this site. Kam was actually our starting tailback in college so I wasn’t the least bit surprised when he told me to drop the laptop off to him at his softball game (he’s always playing in a league of some sort). Of course, I had to break out my camera and get some shots of the game and ended up having a good time. Turns out, one of my old co-workers was pitching. I didn’t stay to see who won, but I figured with Kam on second base they didn’t have a chance hahahaha!!! Dope

What would you do?? Old Love vs. New Love
I LOVE this track. I loved it even before the actual video was released. The video makes the track, for me, that much more interesting because Monica poses a question that I am sure most of us have been faced with before. We all have been in love with someone, but for whatever reason, you and that person could not bridge a union based off of that love. So time passes and you, and more than likely the other party as well, have fallen in love with someone new. Well, what happens when that past love resurfaces….for whatever reason? What happens if you discover that the past is not really in the past, and you both agree that the feelings you have for each other are real? What about the new love you have found? What would you do???
